HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy, is a therapy that uses hypnosis, often alongside Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), and is a powerful device to promote healing or personal development and positive change. Why? Because it utilises the most powerful part of our creative potential - our imagination.

It can re-programme patterns of behaviour within the subconscious mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias and negative thoughts and emotions to be overcome.
What is your subconscious mind?
Think of it like the big part of an iceberg. You can’t see it but you know it’s there, underneath the surface. It contains all your memories, your knowledge and beliefs and it’s your source of creativity. It’s the part of your mind that’s in action when you dream and when you use your imagination. Without being told to, it also regulates your body maintenance; breathing, hormone balance and the healing process.
Why use Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a safe way of connecting with your subconscious mind, to issue new suggestions or instructions. These suggestions are tailored precisely to suit your needs - and in this way you can bring about changes in the way you think and behave that often seem simply miraculous. There are many myths about hypnosis which give a misleading impression. The reality is a lot different. You don’t lose awareness of who you are, where you are and what you’re doing. You don’t lose control. You don’t ‘go under’ in the sense that you fall asleep or unconscious; most people remain aware right throughout the session. In fact, being hypnotised is invariably a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Afterwards, you feel exceptionally calm and relaxed.
